We build what works, launch it fast, and make sure it hits.We are looking for a skilled Lead Technical Writer to join our team in our new office in Valencia, Spain.This is a temporary position (maternity leave cover) with further transition to the Senior Technical Writer.Responsibilities- Foster team motivation and engagement by creating a supportive, collaborative environment that values growth, initiative, and innovation;
- Design and execute on a standard weekly and monthly meetings with your team;
- Review, edit, and proofread documentation produced by the team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards and style guides;
- Drive innovation in content creation by implementing AI tools for style consistency, translation, terminology management, and content optimization;
- Manage capacity and scheduling, dividing and assigning work between team members;
- Set clear goals and expectations for individual and team performance;
- Support recruitment and hiring initiatives and onboarding of new technical writers;
- Provide continuous performance feedback and facilitate periodic formal performance review.Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Technical writing- Experience as a Team Leader for a minimum of 12 months- English C1+- Technical background in computer science (or similar)- Ability to motivate the team and keep them engaged in an otherwise structured process- Experience mentoring others and providing constructive feedback- Strong ownership mindset and ability to unblock the team with internal/external help- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Exemplary planning and time management skills- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders to achieve results- Experience in prompt engineering: crafting, refining, and optimizing prompts for various needs- Proficiency in using AI-driven writing and documentation tools, and experience integrating AI tools into documentation workflowsWe offer, including but not limited to:- Learning and development opportunities and interesting, challenging tasks- Opportunity to develop language skills, with partial compensation for the cost of English classes (for localisation purposes)- Global coverage health insurance- Competitive remuneration level with annual review- Team-building activitiesBold moves start here.
